Dr Baxter performs a broad spectrum of gynaecological surgical procedures covering all aspects of women’s health.

He was the first trainee in Western Australian history to obtain certification in performing total laparoscopic (keyhole) hysterectomies in his second year of RANZCOG training. He completes complex laparoscopic surgery with credentialing for AGES Level-6b surgery (the highest level).

vNOTES

Dr Baxter is one of a small number of surgeons performing natural orifice surgery in Western Australia. This allows both the adnexa (ovaries and fallopian tubes) as well as the uterosacral ligaments to be accessed via a vaginal route providing he advantages of both vaginal and laparoscopic surgery in one procedure.

vNOTES surgery does not involve any abdominal scars of incisions and can often lead to shorter recovery times and less post operative pain.

Hysteroscopic surgery

Dr Baxter performs the full gamut of intrauterine surgery.

-Investigation of abnormal bleeding.
