Dr Baxter is one of a small number of surgeons performing natural orifice surgery in Western Australia. This allows both the adnexa (ovaries and fallopian tubes) as well as the uterosacral ligaments (to prevent pelvic organ prolapse) to be accessed via a vaginal route providing he advantages of both vaginal and laparoscopic surgery in one procedure.
vNOTES surgery does not involve any abdominal scars of incisions and can often lead to shorter recovery times and less post operative pain.
